The vineyard
Our family estate cultivates c. 15,000 acres of vines belonging to the Duverne family since the 19th century.
This small vineyard has many notable features.
It faces west, where the vines benefit from cool nights and mornings and, in contrast, a distinct Mediterranean atmosphere in the afternoon. These amplitudes are conducive to the production of wines that are both ripe and fresh.
The plots flourish on a hillside with a good slope, between 10% and 30%, spread out from 330 to 400m above sea level, which makes it a high-altitude vineyard for Burgundy and the Mâconnais region!
The soils
The geology of our plots is also unique, full of contrasts and diversity.
Alternating between Upper Triassic "calf's liver" limestone soils for Pinot Noir (red, iron-rich soil), and sometimes Triassic sandstone, gryphea limestone, entroque limestone and blue and white marl: Liassic and Middle Jurassic soils for Chardonnay and Savagnin. And finally, granites and micro-granites where our "wild vines" grow!

The team
We use traditional agricultural methods, leading an organic and biodynamic conversion of our vineyard and wines. Our team is composed of Mathieu Collin, 46 years old, former cooper, carpenter and shipwright, and finally winemaker for 8 years ; and Delphine and Sébastien Boisseau, 47 and 49 years old, recognized winemakers for more than 25 years.
Our vintages
From the fruity aromas of La Bruyère to the delicious roundness of Terres du Milieu, from the joyful freshness of Marnes Bleues to the full-bodied character of Grand Bray, our wines will always find a place as pre-dinner drinks or with your meals : starters, meats, cheeses, they suffer from no incompatibility. They provide pure joy and pleasure!
